A conversation with Craig Minowa.

We recently launched a campaign to raise awareness of the dangers of global warming and to educate listeners about what each of us can do to help halt the phenomenon. Craig Minowa of Cloud Cult is one of the most active environmentalists in the music community. Craig founded Earthology Records, the only nonprofit record company in existence to offer environmentally and socially friendly CD replication services at reduced rates for struggling artists. Cloud Cult also released one of KEXP’s favorite albums of 2005, Advice From the Happy Hippopotamus.

Craig and our own John Richards recently sat down to talk about global warming and environmental responsibility. We’re excited to podcast this interview as a special edition of our Music That Matters podcast, with live music from Cloud Cult including two unreleased tracks. To learn more about what you can do to help stop global warming, go to KEXP.ORG.
