>> I mentioned yesterday that vintage sellers are just narrowing the search down to a mere five minutes browsing time and one more has joined the migration from eBay store to e-store where bids are a thing of the past i.e. I may no longer have to set my alarm at odd times in the morning to get what I want (I always oversleep those eBay alarm alerts anyway...).
I'm sure most of you will be familiar with Violetville, whose items on eBay invariably crop up, WHATEVER I'm searching for. 18 pages on her eBay store, and a mix of Buy-it-Now options as well as traditional biddable items is testament to the amount of stock that Tina regularly buys in. That her items are very often "actually old", as in older than fifty years often makes me wonder where she gets her stash from. I'm making this all sound very mercantile and slightly like an underground drug's den but I am genuinely always impressed with Violetville's commitment to vintage that is special, dramatic and well, old.
She too has made the transition to the big e-shop screen and it's about to launch today I hear... here's a sneak peek of the site but for now, it's just a ticking clock of vintage clicking.
There's already a lot on the site though she says there's still a lot to add... I'm dashing out but this is just a note to say, "Hear ye Hear ye! Another vintage e-store is a cometh!"
